The post, referenced below, from e-consultancy discusses the ‘Social Business’. From our experience, many would consider this a step too far due to issues of fear and control usually expressed by the HIPPO (highest paid person’s opinion). However, the concept of the ‘Social Business’ described in the article is probably the most important model for future business success. Perhaps we should be reviewing the set of business benchmarks, augmenting or replacing TQM, lean or six sigma with the Social Business?
